What Do Volunteers Do?Auxiliary volunteers help in many different areas around Northwest Texas Healthcare System. The following list includes some of the volunteer opportunities:

- Information Desk
- Gift Shop
- Critical Care Waiting Area
- Surgery Waiting Area
- Emergency Department
- Popcorn Stand
- S.L.I.M. Team
- MomMobile
- Golf Cart Driver
Volunteers also provide special treats throughout the year for patients and hospital staff.
Membership Information
Membership in the Auxiliary is open to adults who are interested in rendering volunteer services to Northwest Texas Healthcare System (NWTHS) and who agree to abide by the policies and procedures of the Auxiliary and NWTHS.
Active members pay annual dues of three dollars ($3.00) and become voting members of the Auxiliary. An active member contributes at least 50 service hours per year.
Regulation uniforms are worn at all times while on duty.
