Newborn Hearing Screening Program

The Newborn Hearing Screening Program at Northwest Texas has earned distinguished certification for state reporting practices and for receiving exceptional results based on infant hearing screening criteria. Other efforts that contributed to this distinction include managing the hearing screening program and it's objective to screen all babies born at the hospital, attention given to follow-up appointments and for the appropriate transfer of patient records.

Cleft Lip/Palate Counseling

We have long provided advanced surgical care for children born with this common and treatable condition.  We are dedicated to helping families adjust to the births of children with craniofacial problems, and the demands created by the consequent physical and emotional stress.

Parents will learn more about this condition, how to feed and care for your infant before cleft surgery and what to do if follow-up is necessary later in life.

Call 354-1774 to learn more.

Autism Program Available

This program gives patients the tools they need to enhance their strengths in school and at home. Outpatient services for the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder utilize a multidisciplinary approach that includes psychological, pediatric and speech pathology.

Our speech language therapy will help improve communication skills, and occupational and physical therapy can improve motor skills. Sensory integration helps children with aversions to certain touches and smells.
