Specialized Radiology Northwest Texas Healthcare System Radiology Department offers specialized diagnostic procedures. Special catheters are introduced into a patient's vascular system through the femoral artery in the groin and placed in areas such as the abdominal aorta, renal artery, aortic arch, etc. Contrast is injected through the catheter so the specified vascular system can be imaged and studied for abnormalities.
Ultrasound NWTHS provides ultrasonography, echocardiography and vascular ultrasound. The ultrasound services are provided by the contract service JDC Ultrasound. OB, abdominal, neurological, echocardiography, stress echocardiography, extremity and vascular work is provided by this highly trained team.
Mammography The NWTHS Mammography Department is part of The Women's Imaging Center. Accredited by the American College of Radiology, the Mammography Department maintains certification according to the federal government's Mammography Quality Standards Act. Screening and diagnostic mammography services are provided.
