Childbirth Education Series (4 weeks)

This four-week series is offered monthly except in December. The series is designed to provide Mom and her support person with information in a relaxed and supportive environment. Areas of discussion include pregnancy changes, physical and behavioral changes during labor and birth, breathing, relaxation and coping strategies for labor and delivery. The series includes a tour of The Early B. Lokey Women's Center. It is best to select a course that begins when you are 28 weeks pregnant.

A Seminar for Expectant Mothers

Baby You Baby MeLayette. Crib. Nursery decor. OB visits. Childbirth classes.

Your baby's almost here…But what about after you and the new addition to your family return home? Are you as prepared to take care of your baby, and yourself, as you are for childbirth?

Come to a FREE seminar at Northwest Texas Healthcare System for answers to your questions about the "Fourth Trimester"— postpartum.

  • Should my baby sleep on the tummy or back?
  • What if my baby won't sleep?
  • What's the correct way to bathe a baby?
  • Will I be fatigued after delivering?

Breastfeeding Classes

BreastfeedingLearn the basics of breastfeeding: different holds, when, where, how and why.

Emphasis is on the first two weeks of life and questions are answered by an International Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Classes are offered the last Tuesday of the month, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Classes are FREE!

Daddy Survival Camp

Daddy Boot Camp
This special class for new fathers teaches the skills you'll need to take care of your baby and refresher course for fathers preparing for the next exciting event.
